JobRight.AI: My New Favorite Job Search Platform

Updated: Jul 18, 2024

I wanted to share an encouraging new job search platform I found called JobRight.AI. If you're like me, often scrolling through career advice reels to pick-up new tools, this might be a good one to try. The user experience overall beats out the others I’ve tried. I found it through Instagram since I'm being bombarded with job search tips these days. No complaints at all because once in awhile you stumble upon something helpful as a user.

Here’s what I like so far:

  • Quick and Easy Setup: Answer a few basic questions, upload your resume, and get directed to the right job opportunities, whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or contract roles. It even asks how urgent your needs are to find a new role.

  • Smart AI Tools: Features like “Tell me why this job is a good fit for me” and “Give me some resume tips if I want to apply” make the job application and related documentation updates a little less time consuming. JobRight features it's own AI copilot to assist the job seeker and cut down on precious time.

  • Networking Help: It shows you connections in common for potential referrals.

  • Company Insights: You get info on each company’s website, location, size, leadership team, and the latest news on what they’re up to.

  • Applicant Numbers: One of my favorite features is seeing how many applicants you’re up against. This helps keep things realistic. Not sure about others but I’m mostly getting LinkedIn role matches with 100 applicants or over, which is both unhelpful and discouraging. The next filter option is less than 10 applicants which is again…not too helpful.

As job seekers, we’re often juggling multiple platforms, and being asked to pay subscription fees which can add up quickly without receiving much value. I haven't gotten much out of upgrading to LinkedIn Premium, and I've tried it a few times over the years. I'm currently back to the free and basic LinkedIn plan. JobRight is free, and I'm not sure if it will stay that way so best to give it a try sooner rather than later.

I've also found unique job listings on JobRight.AI that I haven’t found elsewhere, often posted within the last week or even within 24 hours, keeping them fresh. It's thought that candidates have a better chance of getting an interview if they apply as soon as possible after a new role is posted online. Whether that sentiment is true cannot be confirmed. Big shoutout to platforms like JobRight.AI for making the job hunt a little less stressful and easier to digest.

I promise I was not paid or sponsored in any way to write this post. I hope this platform is helpful to all my fellow job seekers out there! Please let me know if you've tried it and if you've had any luck.
